Jim White has claimed on talkSPORT (10:33am, November 12, 2021) that Ibrox club Rangers will interview Giovanni van Bronckhorst this weekend.
The talkSPORT presenter, who has strong connections in the Scottish game, has reported that Rangers plan to hold talks with Van Bronckhorst.
Rangers are looking for a new manager following the departure of Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa.
The Athletic have reported that the former Arsenal star has already made it known to Rangers that he wants the managerial role at Ibrox.
White said on talkSPORT (10:33am, November 12, 2021): “Giovanni van Bronckhorst is due to be interviewed this weekend, as we understand it, by Rangers.”

Could Giovanni van Bronckhorst to Rangers happen?
Rangers reportedly holding talks with Van Bronckhorst this weekend indicates that they are interested in the Dutchman.
Now, of course, there will be other candidates, but as far as we can tell from checking the internet, the former Rangers star is the first candidate to be interviewed by the Gers.
The 46-year-old is without a managerial job at the moment following his departure from Guangzhou City in China.
Rangers are well positioned in the Scottish Premiership table to win the league title again this season.
