Rodney Marsh has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to what The Daily Mail are reporting about Tottenham Hotspur’s managerial search now.
Paulo Fonseca rumour
The Daily Mail have reported that Paulo Fonseca is now on the radar of Tottenham.
The Portuguese boss is Tottenham’s six-choice managerial candidate to replace Jose Mourinho.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy failed with moves for Julian Nagelsmann, Brendan Rodgers, Erik ten Hag, Antonio Conte and Mauricio Pochettino.
Tottenham could reportedly appoint Fonseca in a matter of days, and former Queens Park Rangers and Manchester City forward Rodney Marsh seems to have mocked the decision.
Give Paulo Fonseca a chance
It must be frustrating for Tottenham fans that the club have yet to appoint a permanent successor to Mourinho.
Pochettino is clearly the manager (most?) Spurs fans would love to see get the job.
But that is unlikely to happen now.
Fonseca is not a household name in the world of football.
Like Marsh, many Tottenham fans could be underwhelmed.

However, if Fonseca gets the job, then the Spurs supporters should give him a chance.

The 48-year-old won the Ukrainian Premier League title thrice, the Ukrainian Cup on three occasions, and played in the Champions League.
