Aston Villa are looking for a replacement for Steve Bruce, with Roberto Martinez linked.

If Roberto Martinez takes over at Aston Villa, he will finally get the chance to work with Ahmed Elmohamady.
Martinez attempted to sign Elmohamady back in 2016, when he was in charge at Everton, as revealed by the defender to DMC Sports.
Elmohamady was all set to move to Goodison Park, but then Everton replaced Martinez with Ronald Koeman, and the deal fell through.
He said: “Last season I received offers from Everton, Crystal Palace, and Swansea City.
“However, my move to Everton was compromised due to the departure of Roberto Martinez, and the signing of Ronald Koeman.”

The Egyptian defender has now ended up at Villa, and in a twist of fate, he could now end up working with Martinez anyway.
The claret and blues are determined to improve after a poor start to the campaign.
And the appointment of a manager of Martinez’s quality could help to propel them up the Championship table.
