Robbie Fowler is reacting on Twitter to Jurgen Klopp extending his Liverpool contract.

In a massive boost for everyone associated with the Reds, Klopp has signed a two-year extension at Anfield.

Instead of his deal expiring in 2024, it will now expire in 2026.

The German manager is one of the most popular Liverpool managers of all time – and that’ll improve exponentially if he delivers an unprecedented quadruple this season.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss, who joined the Premier League giants in 2015, has already delivered a Carabao Cup this season.

But Liverpool are one point behind Manchester City in the Premier League, have an FA Cup final date with Chelsea booked and they have one foot in the final of the Champions League, after beating Villarreal 2-0 at Anfield earlier this week.

Even if Klopp wins one more trophy this season – particularly a Premier League or Champions League – it’ll make him immortal.

Here’s how Fowler reacted to the news that he’s staying for an additional two years.

Fowler’s tweet is a reference to the chant that Liverpool supporters tend to serenade Klopp with these days.

But the lyrics ring true.

The Reds fans will be forever glad that Klopp is one of them and with another four years, it’s fascinating to see if he can rebuild this phenomenal Liverpool outfit – and he’s already trying.

There’s no coincidence that the Merseysiders have been signing quite a lot of young talent over the last few years.

Long term, they’ll be blending these players with the likes of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz, experienced professionals who are still young enough to have the prime of their careers well ahead of them.

It remains to be seen whether Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah will be at the club for the long term but, if they aren’t, no doubt Klopp and his team have plans to replace them and somehow keep Liverpool at the top.
