Rio Ferdinand was full of praise for Kieran Trippier in his latest interview on ‘Vibe With Five’, who has been a revelation for Newcastle United this season.
The £12 million (Sky Sports) man made plenty of headlines while in conversation with the Manchester United great, calling Declan Rice better than Casemiro as well as Mousa Dembele the best player he has ever played with.
While the Newcastle captain Kieran Trippier was extremely complimentary towards some of his peers, Rio Ferdinand showed the same level of appreciation towards him.

Alan Shearer has also previously sang the English right-back’s praises this season, dubbing him as a complete ‘gamechanger’, with Gary Neville also campaigning for him to be in the Three Lions’ World Cup squad before the tournament.
Rio Ferdinand has now done the same during his interview on his YouTube channel with Newcastle United fan favourite Kieran Trippier.
“We have to give you [Kieran Trippier] your flowers when you come on man! Technically ridiculous. A fantasy football team manager’s dream right now!”, Rio Ferdinand told the 32-year-old.

The La Liga winner, ever since his arrival from Atletico Madrid in January last year has been terrific for Eddie Howe’s side.
And his form has continued into the 2022/2023 season, with many even crowning the ageing defender as the best right-back in the league on form.
Rio Ferdinand, who is regarded as one of, if not the very best centre-back in English top-flight history has also given Kieran Trippier his due credit for his excellent performances for Newcastle.
While the former Tottenham ace was often slated for being a Gareth Southgate favourite in the past due to the presences of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Reece James, it’s lovely to see him get the credit he deserves.
