According to ESPN, Arsenal target Eduardo Camavinga has a deadline of June 28th to decide on a new Rennes contract.
Rennes don’t want the situation to drag on much longer, so he has just 12 days to decide whether he wants to stay long-term or move on.
Additionally, Le10 Sport claim that Arsenal are ‘pushing’ for Camavinga, though a move to Paris Saint-Germain looks more likely.
Arsenal need a midfielder – Camavinga would be a huge coup
Loanee Dani Ceballos is returning to Real Madrid, Granit Xhaka could leave for Roma and Mohamed Elneny isn’t exactly a nailed-on starter.
Arsenal need to find another midfielder, and 18-year-old Camavinga has the ability on the ball, the athletic ability and the reading of the game to be a mainstay of the Arsenal side for years.
Paul Pogba has raved about Camavinga, and it’s reasonable to think that he can be just as good as Pogba in the coming years.

How much would Camavinga cost?
It’s claimed that Rennes would want a huge £43million deal for Camavinga, and Arsenal need to think about whether they can actually afford that.
Arsenal need two midfielders, not just the one. Add in that they need a goalkeeper, a right back and a striker too, and £43million for Camavinga may be a tough sell.
Camavinga would though be a blockbuster signing for Arsenal, and fans would surely love Edu if he could pull this one off.
