Tottenham Hotspur ready to sign Radu Dragusin
Fabrizio Romano reported on Saturday that Tottenham were closing in on a deal to sign Dragusin.
Romano has since added that Dragusin has already agreed personal terms with Tottenham whilst reports in Romania indicate that he will earn around £50,000-a-week.
Tottenham don’t have a full agreement in place with Genoa just yet but a deal seems to be moving closer.
Italian reporter Rudy Galetti now claims that Tottenham are ‘set to complete the agreement’ to sign Dragusin.
It’s stated that there are ‘positive feelings’ that the deal will be finalised soon with Tottenham open to paying around €27million (£23.5million).
Dragusin is keen to make the move to North London and talks today appear to have gone well.
The 21-year-old has impressed for Genoa this season having spent last season on loan with the club.
Sold by Juventus over the summer, Dragusin is thriving in Serie A and Tottenham are ready tov invest in his potential.
Hailed by Romania boss Edward Iordanescu as a ‘special character’ who has made ‘fabulous progress’, Dragusin now looks set for a Premier League move with Ange Postecoglou adding more depth and potential to his Spurs ranks.
Dragusin may have to settle for being third-choice behind Romero and Van de Ven when everybody is fit, but he could grow into a star at Tottenham if he develops under Postecoglou.
