
Reported Rangers target Bongani Zungu has dropped a hint on Twitter that he is open to moving to Steven Gerrard’s side.
Rangers manager Gerrard is interested in signing Zungu from Amiens in the summer transfer window, according to France Football (click here to read more).
The Gers are aiming to stop bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic from winning the Scottish Premiership title for the 10th time in a row next season, and a player of the South Africa international midfielder’s quality would help – at the right price.
The 27-year-old is a very good player in the middle of the park who has been on the books of Amiens since 2017.
According to WhoScored, Zungu made 10 starts and 11 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Amiens this past season.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the midfielder played five times in the league for Amiens, according to WhoScored.
The South Africa international seems to have indicated on Twitter that he could be open to moving to Rangers in the summer transfer window.
The midfielder has ‘liked’ a post on Twitter which simply said ‘Zungu under Gerrad?’, as well as another in which he was photoshopped into a Rangers shirt alongside Gerrard.
