Celtic are reportedly interested in Fenerbahce’s Hasan Ali Kaldirim in the January transfer window.
Fenerbahce wingback Hasan Ali Kaldirim has told Mlliyet that he is happy at the club.
Ali Kaldirim has been linked with a move to Celtic in the January transfer window.
Earlier this month, Fotomac reported of the Scottish Premiership club’s interest in the 27-year-old Turkey international (click here to read more).
The left wingback has suggested that he could remain at Fenerbahce until the end of the season.

“At the moment, I only focus on the championship,” Ali Kaldirim told Mlliyet, as translated by Sport Witness. “I do not think about my contract, it’s not a problem. I do not talk about money, I’m very happy here. I want to be a symbolic name in the team.”

Ali Kaldirim’s current contract with Fenerbahce runs until June 2017, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The Turkish wingback is an experienced footballer, and he would be a good signing for Celtic.
However, given that the 27-year-old’s contract with his Turkish club runs out in the summer, do the Bhoys need to make a move for him in the January transfer window?
Wouldn’t it be better if Celtic wait until the end of the season and then sign Ali Kaldirim on a free transfer?
Brendan Rodgers’s side are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 58 points from 20 matches.
The Hoops are 19 points clear of second-placed and Old Firm rivals Rangers and have a game in hand.
