The former Aston Villa winger looks set to sign for Wolverhampton Wanderers from Middlesbrough.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have matched Adama Traore’s buyout clause, with Aston Villa poised to profit from any transfer to Molineux, according to the Sun.
The newspaper reports the Middlesbrough winger can speak to any club that agrees to pay an up front fee of £18 million for his services, which Wolves now have.
And it is claimed the newly-promoted side will also offer Traore the personal terms he wants to get him on board.
Traore scored five goals and assisted 10 for Boro last season – a campaign that was brought to an end by beaten finalists Aston Villa in the Championship play-offs.

And the Sun reports that Villa will be due some of the fee paid [20 per cent according to the Telegraph] for their former player.
The newspaper adds that Traore’s transfer will ‘open the door for Wolves to sell a couple of players’, and leave Middlesbrough hurriedly seeking a replacement ahead of their opening game of the new Championship season next week.
Will Middlesbrough’s former Aston Villa man prove a good addition for Wolves?
