The Daily Mail have reported that West Ham view Liverpool and Chelsea target Moises Caicedo as their ideal replacement for Declan Rice.
The Brighton & Hove Albion ace has been earmarked as an alternative to Jude Bellingham by Liverpool, according to Sky reporter Florian Plettenburg.
However, Sky Sports News have stated that Chelsea remain interested in signing the Ecuadorian midfielder, who caught the eye at the World Cup.
Caicedo has been a revelation since signing for Brighton.
Being an elite defensive presence has made him the perfect successor for Yves Bissouma, who joined Tottenham in the summer.
Much like Bissouma, the Ecuadorian is excellent from a technical perspective as well, being comfortable in tight spaces and bursting forward with the ball with ease.

As a result, it is no surprise to see top clubs circling around his signature.
West Ham eye Moises Caicedo as the Declan Rice successor
The Daily Mail have claimed West Ham United consider Moises Caicedo as the ideal player to replace Declan Rice, who is constantly speculated with an exit.
It has also been mentioned that Brighton could be willing to part ways with their talismanic midfielder, providing they bank a £60 million fee for him, just 2 years after he joined the club.
The Ecuadorian would be a brilliant addition if Rice leaves
While there is no denying that it would be a tough task replacing Declan Rice, the potential signing of Moises Caicedo as his successor would be brilliant.
Caicedo, much like the England international is also in essence, a lights-out defensive midfielder.
But much like the Hammers captain, it would be limiting the Ecuadorian by simply boxing him in as a No.6.
With several top clubs in England expected to go all in to sign Declan Rice, David Moyes’ side should try to ensure they seal the deal to bring in Moises Caicedo.
