West Ham United and Aston Villa are reportedly interested in Maxi Gomez.

Sky Sports have reported that West Ham’s bid of £29 million for Gomez has been accepted by Spanish club Celta.
The report has claimed that La Liga outfit Valencia have had the same offer for the 22-year-old Uruguay international striker accepted as well.
Disappointment for Aston Villa
Earlier this week, it was claimed that Villa – who will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship via the playoffs – are interested in Gomez.
Defensor Sporting Club chief Ney Castillo told Tiempo de Futbol on Sport 890, broadcast on June 6, 2019, that Villa want to sign the 22-year-old, who started his professional club football career at the Uruguayan club (click here to read more).
