West Ham United boss David Moyes is now plotting a move for Said Benrahma with the money that he is about to make from Grady Diangana’s sale, the Telegraph report.
Brentford want £30 million for the winger as things stand, but West Ham are hopeful of striking a deal for £10 million cheaper than that asking price.
Benrahma has not featured for Brentford over pre-season and his move away from the club appears to be drawing closer.
Benrahma could make an exciting addition at West Ham, given that he was ‘outstanding’ in the Championship last term, according to Sky Sports Football League expert Lee Hendrie.
However, their decision to offload Diangana to West Bromwich Albion has not gone down well.

Diangana was one of their top prospects, and West Ham fans were excited to see him in action at the London Stadium next season, but it seems that they will be denied that opportunity.
Benrahma, therefore, will have to hit the ground running to ensure that supporters’ frustrations don’t rise any further over the club’s transfer business.
