West Bromwich Albion are said to have paid £13 million for Chadli two years ago.

West Bromwich Albion are willing to cash in on Nacer Chadli, according to the Daily Mirror’s printed edition (August 10th, page 65).
While the English deadline for permanent transfers passed at 5pm on Thursday, players can still be sold to clubs whose windows remain open.
And the Daily Mirror claims West Brom are waiting to see if Besiktas firm up their reported interest in Chadli, before Turkey’s September 1st deadline.
Chadli is yet to appear in a West Brom matchday squad this season, after his prolonged stay at the 2018 World Cup with Belgium, while Harvey Barnes has impressed in Chadli’s position since arriving on loan from Leicester City.

According to the Daily Mail’s live blog (August 9th, 11:50), West Brom are close to their financial limit, and selling Chadli could help to fund further loan additions before September.
EFL clubs are permitted to make temporary signings until then, and can even strike agreements to make those deals permanent in January.
