Reported Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic has told acquaintances that is eager to sign for either Juventus or Inter Milan this year.
According to Football London, the ACF Fiorentina star has disclosed with ‘close friends’ that his deal destination is to remain in Italy and move to either the reigning Serie A champions or the most successful team in the country.
Both sides have been linked with Vlahovic, with Juventus viewed by some as the most likely side to sign the Serbian this year.
And this new update is a big blow to Arsenal, who are desperate to sign the striker.
Vlahovic is the number one striker Arsenal want to sign this January, with the attacker having a record-breaking 2021 with Fiorentina in Serie A. However, it appears that the 21-year-old is not keen on a move to the Emirates.
Multiple reports suggest that UEFA Champions League football is a must for Vlahovic this year, and with Arsenal unlikely to make top-four despite their current position, it makes sense why the forward is cautious about moving to north London.
Vlahovic update could force Arsenal to look elsewhere

A deal to sign Vlahovic was always going to be difficult, with the Daily Mail reporting that the striker wants a total package worth £150m. And for Arsenal, this plus the news that he wants to stay in Italy could force them away from the forward.
Indeed, a striker is the main priority for Arsenal this season. And whilst Vlahovic would be one heck of a signing, these latest developments suggest that the Gunners should be looking at alternative options.
