According to Football.London, Giovani Lo Celso trained with the Tottenham Hotspur team on Monday, and so did Malachi Fagan-Walcott and Harvey White.
There had been speculation that the Argentina international midfielder had been injured, as covered on HITC Sport here, but the 24-year-old trained with his Spurs teammates yesterday.
Tottenham themselves posted a photo of Lo Celso in training on Twitter, as shown below.
Football.London has reported that youngsters Fagan-Walcott and White trained with the Tottenham senior players on Monday.
Promising talent
White is only 18 years of age and is very talented, and him training with the Tottenham first team suggests that he could make his debut soon.
With Tottenham fighting for a place in the top four of the Premier League table this season, the North London outfit will need a strong squad with fresh legs even after the break the players have had.
While it is unlikely that White will get much playing time in the final games of the season, the teenager – who can operate as a left-back, centre-back, central midfielder and is a dead-ball specialist – will be better for the experience he is getting by training with the senior side and could be an important squad player during the 2020-21 campaign.
