Fabio Paratici’s position at Tottenham is reportedly already under pressure from the Spurs board after two disappointing transfer windows.
According to the Daily Mail, the Italian football official is expected to deliver in the summer after underwhelming ventures in the transfer window so far with Tottenham under two different managers.
Paratici was appointed by Daniel Levy in the summer to act as the Tottenham’s new sporting director, yet so far, the moves made by the former Juventus transfer chief have been disappointing.
Serie A signings Pierluigi Gollini and Cristian Romero have not met the standards fans expected in the summer, whilst Bryan Gil, who joined from Sevilla, has already returned to Spain on loan via Valencia.
Emerson Royal has also been a dud, with Antonio Conte reportedly eager to sell the defender in January.
Whilst Paratici brought in Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski on deadline day, Tottenham’s January window was headlined by the club missing out on numerous targets from Wolves star Adama Traore to non-league prospect Ollie Tanner.
And if Tottenham are to make a hash out of another transfer window in the summer, Levy could be forced to pull the trigger on Paratici just over a year since appointing the Italian from Juventus.
Summer transfer window is massive for both Paratici and Tottenham

When Paratici was appointed by Levy in the summer, the move was meant to echo a new era for Tottenham led by a man who has done the business for one of the biggest clubs in Europe with Juventus. Yet now, that dream is crumbling, and this off-season is now huge for both the Italian and Spurs.
Indeed, Tottenham still have a strong chance of qualifying for top-four under Conte, yet regardless of league position in the summer, Paratici needs to roll up his sleeves and ensure that Spurs’ window is one of definitive change instead of one that acts to clean up the mess of the previous two transfer ventures.
