Tottenham Hotspur players will welcome back Harry Kane with no problem if a move to Manchester City fails, according to The Sun.
What’s the story?
The centre-forward has been linked with a move to Manchester City all summer.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is demanding £160 million to part ways with the England international. A figure the north west giants are reluctant to pay.
However, Rio Ferdinand recently claimed he believes the Citizens will pay the money for the “sensational” 28-year-old.
Kane was open about leaving the club during an interview with Gary Neville in late May. In the interview, he spoke about his desire to win major trophies.
However, it seems all will be forgiven by his teammates if he returns to the Spurs first team set-up after the transfer window closes.

Our View: Tottenham players right to forgive Kane if Manchester City move fails
Demanding success is the right of every professional athlete.
In that regard, it’s hardly surprising to see the striker wanting to join Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s men are the height of English football. With three league titles in the past five years, they are currently the most successful side in the country.
Meanwhile, the Lilywhites have won nothing since 2008, hence why Kane wants to leave.
However, the Tottenham players are right to welcome back Kane if his move to City falls through. He has done nothing wrong in attempting to further his own career by asking for a move.
And Spurs already have the bragging rights after beating Manchester City 1-0 at the weekend – without Kane. Much to the delight of Tottenham fans everywhere.
