Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Tottenham interest in Ousmane Dembele
The Spanish news outlet are reporting this morning that Tottenham have approached Dembele and have offered him a lot of money.
The 24-year-old France international is out of contract at Barcelona at the end of the season.
Tottenham managing director of football, Fabio Paratici, wanted to sign Dembele when he was at Juventus.
Paratici reportedly wants to bring Dembele to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the summer of 2022 on a free transfer.
The plan is to provide Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte with quality players to complete with Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea for the Premier League title next season.

Would Ousmane Dembele make Tottenham better?
Dembele has had injury problems, but there is no doubt that he is a quality footballer.
And Lionel Messi rates him highly.
The Argentina international forward played with Dembele at Barcelona.
GiveMeSport quoted the Paris Saint-Germain forward as saying about Dembele in March 2020: “His pace is frightening in training.”
Now, we know that signing Dembele would come with its own risk.
However, in our opinion, if Tottenham are able to sign the forward on a free transfer in the summer of 2022, then they should at least try.
Dembele is quick, is skilful and will be able to contribute to Tottenham.
