According to BILD, RB Leipzig are struggling in negotiations to sign Maxence Lacroix, who is said to be a target for Tottenham.
What’s the story?
Well, it was Sky Germany who revealed that Spurs want the defender, who is believed to be Fabio Paratici’s dream signing.
The Italian also wanted the Frenchman when he was at Juventus.
Now, Tottenham’s chances of signing the 21-year-old have been boosted, after BILD gave an update on RB Leipzig’s pursuit.
The German news outlet claim that RB Leipzig’s talks with VfL Wolfsburg have stalled, as he’s too pricey for them.
Now, they are searching for alternatives, and have identified four other options.
Time for Tottenham to steal in

While negotiations have stalled and RB Leipzig look elsewhere, this is the perfect time for Tottenham to swoop in.
If Lacroix really is Paratici’s dream signing, he’d be a fool to sit and twiddle his thumbs while this fantastic opportunity presents itself.
After all, if RB Leipzig come back to the negotiating table having failed to find an alternative, we feel they’re more attractive than Spurs.

Jesse Marsch can offer Lacroix Champions League football, whereas Tottenham can only offer the UEFA Conference League.
As a result, now is the time to blow RB Leipzig out of the water with an offer Lacroix and VfL Wolfsburg cannot refuse.
If the France Under-20 internationally really is Paratici’s dream signing, then it’s time for the Italian to put his money where his mouth is.
