Maxence Lacroix has been described as a ‘dream signing’ for Tottenham Hotspur’s Fabio Paratici.
Speculation is rife that the 21-year-old defender could be leaving Wolfsburg for Spurs during the summer transfer window.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham are very keen on the player.
And Sky Sport Germany have reported today that he is a ‘dream signing’ for the Lilywhites’ managing director.
Paratici joined Tottenham from Juventus this summer and the report adds that the Italian had identified him as a target for the Serie A giants in the past.
Badly needed
Tottenham desperately need new central defenders.
When Toby Alderweireld is still your best centre-back at the age of 32, you know something is wrong.
Along with Lacroix, the Lilywhites are also reportedly in the hunt for Jules Kounde and it goes without saying that two of them would make this Spurs side a hell of a lot stronger, when you consider that Nuno Espirito Santo’s existing options right now are Alderweireld, Joe Rodon, Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez.
