Tottenham prospect Troy Parrott is set for a third loan spell away from north London this summer with MK Dons close to signing the youngster.
According to the Daily Mail, the Republic of Ireland international is set to join the League One side this week.
Parrott had two loans last season with Millwall and Ipswich Town where the attacker bagged just two goals in all competitions. Jose Mourinho gave the teenager his debut at Spurs in the 2019/20 season.
Parrott was once viewed as one of the top talents in the Tottenham academy. However, a lack of regular first-team football and form over has seen the teenager’s development dip slightly.
Indeed, Dane Scarlett is now viewed by both the club and supporters as the brightest attacking talent coming through this season.
The English youngster has scored twice in pre-season this summer and has become a quick fan favourite with Tottenham fans.
MK Dons move will be beneficial for Parrott
Although Parrott’s first year in senior football did not go to plan, the Irish striker can more than make up for lost time at MK Dons this season.

The League One side have aided multiple young talents over the years. And it could be the perfect setting for the teenager.
Moreover, with manager Russell Martin now set to stay with MK Dons for next season, Parrott will be playing under a coach many regard as one of the best in England outside of the Premier League.
The MK Dons manager was a target for Swansea City to replace the recently departed Steve Cooper. However, Martin has rejected the chance to take over the Championship side as per the Daily Mail report.
