The Black Cats have reportedly turned their attention to a pair of Champions League strikers from Manchester City and Leicester City.

Sunderland are showing an interest in Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony and Leicester City’s Leonardo Ulloa, according to the Guardian.
The Black Cats find themselves a little light up top approaching Wednesday’s 11pm transfer deadline and could be about to rival a host of clubs for the Champions League pair.
Stoke City are the latest to be credited with an interest in Bony, who is said to earn £120,000 a week. However, the Guardian reports Stoke will not break their wage structure to accommodate the Ivorian, for whom City would prefer a permanent transfer.

Ulloa, on the other hand, has been linked with moves to Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion this window, with a number of Championship clubs among the favourites to land him, according to Sky Bet.

Sunderland are set for an extremely busy deadline day, with a new goalkeeper and central midfielder also high on their to-do list.
Manager David Moyes appeared to have at least two irons in the fire before Tuesday. However, a move for Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra is reportedly off (Sky Sports), while Ryan Mason joined Hull City instead.
