Leeds United are being linked with a move for the 22-goal Derby County striker.

Rumoured Leeds United target Matej Vydra could leave Derby County for less than previously thought.
Both the Sun and Yorkshire Evening Post claimed that it would cost at least £10 million to prise the Rams’ top scorer away from Pride Park.
According to the Daily Mirror (liveblog entry 20:16), however, new boss Frank Lampard is ready to listen to offers for Vydra, who it claims is ‘likely to be sacrificed for around £7 million’.

Derby are said to be cutting their wage bill after missing out on another promotion, and the Czech international is one of few remaining assets, after the sales of Will Hughes, Tom Ince and Jeff Hendrick in recent summers.
The Daily Mirror reports Vydra earns £30,000 a week at Pride Park, which is thought to be at least double that of any player currently on Leeds’ books.
The Yorkshire side are, however, being tipped to increase their budget ahead of an assault on promotion next season.

According to the Daily Mirror, Derby could give a new deal to captain Curtis Davies, amid interest from former boss Gary Rowett at Stoke City.
