Leeds United were credited with interest in the Derby County striker before his 2016 move to Pride Park.

Leeds United are being linked with a move for Derby County striker Matej Vydra.
The Sun on Sunday reports (June 10th, page 60) Vydra is a ‘staggering £10 million target’ for the Yorkshire club.
And it is claimed the Czech international, who scored 22 goals last season, could be sold to raise funds for Derby’s new manager Frank Lampard.

The report adds Vydra ‘might go in a cash-plus-player deal’ with Leeds left-back Tom Pearce.
Pearce, for whom Leeds announced a new four-year contract on Thursday, is said to be valued at £2 million by the Whites.
However, both players are reportedly interesting other clubs too, with Stoke keen on Vydra, according to the Telegraph, and Crystal Palace and Bournemouth monitoring Pearce, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Leeds, whose top league goalscorer last season was Pierre-Michel Lasogga with 10, were linked with Vydra before his 2016 move to Derby, again by the Sun.
Should Derby sign Pearce, it would surely raise questions over the futures of Rams left-backs Marcus Olsson, Craig Forsyth and Max Lowe.
