Tottenham Hotspur may be having to fight off AC Milan in January, as they continue to be linked with a move for star striker Harry Kane.
It was reported earlier this month by Corriere dello Sport that Spurs striker Kane and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti are Milan’s big transfer targets. Milan are set to receive a huge cash injection from a Chinese investment group and want to push themselves back into Europe’s elite after recent failures.

The report claimed Milan believe Kane can be the club’s next Marco van Basten and that they would be ready to spend big on his signature.
Today has seen the price-tag in mind reported in the Italian media.
Forza Italian Football is reporting that the Rossoneri would be willing to spend around €85 million (£73.3 million) to sign Kane – which would make him England’s most expensive player and one of the most expensive ever in the world.

Should Spurs sell?
Simply put, no.
Tottenham need to shelf their reputation as a selling club. Too often star assets have departed – with Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Carrick all perfect examples.
Kane is a goalscorer, something worth its weight in gold, and no matter what Milan throw at them Tottenham must not budge.
