Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has “no interest” in leaving the Premier League’s bottom club despite interest from Burnley, as reported by The Star.
Nine months after the highly rated goalkeeper completed an £18.5 million return to his former club, Ramsdale isn’t going to let something as trivial as relegation from England’s top flight turn his head.
Sheffield United finally tumbled out of the Premier League a fortnight ago.
But the former Bournemouth glovesman has no qualms about dropping down a division, with The Star claiming Ramsdale has no intention of throwing his toys out of the pram and demanding a move away from Bramall Lane.
The Sun recently claimed Burnley had identified the 22-year-old as a potential successor for Tottenham-linked Nick Pope.

But even if Pope is lured to north London to take Hugo Lloris’ place between the Spurs sticks, it seems we can rule out the prospect of Ramsdale making the 65-mile trip up the A57 from the Steel City to Burnley.
Sheffield United supporters will no doubt pray the rest of Paul Heckingbottom’s squad is similarly committed to the cause as the Blades look to bounce back at the first time of asking and take a leaf out of Norwich City’s promotion playbook.
Sander Berge is a target for the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton, while Kean Bryan and Oli McBurnie also have admirers.
