According to Hull Live, Arsenal are now close to losing Hale End wonderkid Salah Oulad M’Hand to Hull City.

What’s the story?

Well, the 18-year-old has been described as “something special” by those at the Emirates Stadium, but the Gunners are now set to lose the exciting teenager.

According to Hull Live, the deal has been helped by M’Hand and his desire to leave Arsenal for a taste of regular first-team football.

Interestingly, the Netherlands Under-17 international has actually gone against Mikel Arteta and Edu in forcing a move to the KCOM Stadium, according to Hull Live.

M’Hand is set to travel to Hull today to sign paperwork ahead of an initial loan move to the Championship side, and the Tigers hold an option to turn the deal permanent in 2023.

In fact, it sounds as if a permanent deal is more of a definite than a possibility – Hull Live add that a fee has already been agreed with Arsenal, and a contract has been finalised with the Dutchman.

In our view, Hull are simply delaying the permanent move for financial reasons.

Hull Live add that M’Hand will wear the No.10 shirt for the Tigers, with those at Hull convinced they’re signing a blossoming talent who will excite supporters.

Arsenal lose another gem in Salah Oulad M’Hand

This is a huge blow for Arsenal, to say the least.

Things are going well on a first-team level after a 100% start to the Premier League campaign, but there are certainly some concerning developments happening at Hale End.

Omari Hutchinson – a player some at Arsenal believe can be better than Bukayo Saka – recently left for Chelsea, and now another bright prospect has also quit.

We’re not quite sure why the duo became disillusioned in north London, but if Arsenal hope to see more talents like Saka and Emile Smith Rowe emerge, something clearly needs to change at Hale End.
