Scunthorpe United are said to want £1.5 million for the reported Sheffield Wednesday and Wigan Athletic target.
The Daily Mail reports that Sheffield Wednesday and Wigan Athletic have enquired about Scunthorpe United winger Josh Morris.
Morris has scored 17 goals in 27 League One appearances for Scunthorpe, who lead Wednesday’s city rivals Sheffield United at the top of the table, and the report claims the Irons are looking for around £1.5 million for the 25-year-old.

Wigan’s interest is no real surprise given Yanic Wildschut’s imminent departure to Norwich City, leaving the Latics a winger short and £7 million better off.

Wednesday, however, are not currently short of wide players, despite allowing Modou Sougou to leave earlier on Tuesday, and any subsequent approach for Morris will likely depend on further Hillsborough departures.

The Owls recently signed West Bromwich Albion’s Callum McManaman on a half-season loan deal, adding the former Wigan player to a pool of wingers already comprising Ross Wallace, Adam Reach, Marco Matias and Will Buckley.

Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal also suggested at a press conference on Tuesday that his side are done where incoming transfers are concerned.
Preston-born Morris only moved to Scunthorpe in the summer from Bradford City.
