According to Calcio Dangolo, Roma are interested in signing Yerry Mina from Everton if they fail to land Arsenal target Evan Ndicka.
Everton could lose Mina if Arsenal fend off Roma
Well, the Italian news outlet believe José Mourinho is hoping to sign Ndicka from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023, with the Frenchman’s contract set to expire in July.
However, Calciomercato believe Arsenal are also keen on the towering France Under-21 international, who is supposedly available for just £7m in January as a result of his contract situation.
Calcio Dangolo state that Mina will also become a free agent in the summer, so Mourinho has two bargain options on his shortlist.
Ndicka has made a name for himself as one of the best young defenders in Europe at Eintracht Frankfurt, playing nearly every minute of the Bundesliga campaign this season, while also helping the German side win the Europa League last term.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus are also in the race to sign the 23-year-old.
Roma should ignore Everton flop if Arsenal sign Ndicka
In our view, there are better options for Mourinho than Mina – if he fails to beat Arsenal to Ndicka.
The Colombia international has been significantly underwhelming at Goodison Park since his £27m move from Barcelona in 2018.
Mina is regularly injured, and has only managed to make one appearance for Everton this season.
It comes after the 28-year-old was only able to finish 90 minutes on eight occasions in the Premier League last term.
To make matters worse, Mina earns £120,000-a-week at Everton, a salary he would presumably like to keep, or at least get close to, at Roma.
If he received those wages in Rome, it has the potential to cause issues within the squad, as only one player – Lorenzo Pellegrini – earns more with a salary of £122,000-a-week.
As a result of the South American’s fitness issues – and his wages – a deal simply wouldn’t be worth doing for Mourinho.
