According to The Daily Record, West Bromwich Albion midfielder Rekeem Harper is likely to join Celtic in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Celtic manager Neil Lennon has personally watched Harper in action, and that the player himself has been to Scotland to watch the Hoops.

The Daily Record has claimed that the transfer “is likely to happen”, with the 19-year-old midfielder out of contract at the Baggies this summer.

West Brom in the Championship in England have announced on their official website that they have made a second and final offer to the teenager.

According to The Express & Star, Celtic will have to pay West Brom Fifa’s standard international compensation package of £235,000 if Harper joins the Glasgow giants.
