Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun is now ready to leave, with Crystal Palace interested in him, according to a report.

The Express have reported that Folarin Balogun is open to leaving Arsenal in the summer transfer window amid interest from Crystal Palace among other clubs.

The 21-year-old striker is “prepared to leave Arsenal this summer to pursue regular football”, according to the report, which has added that the Gunners will hold talks with his agent, Eddie Bonsu.

Arsenal’s London and Premier League rivals Palace have asked for information on the striker, who has drawn interest from Inter Milan and RB Leipzig.

The Gunners themselves are willing to offload the USA international, described as “really ambitious, really committed and really brave” by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on the club’s official website in February 2023.

Juventus have also been linked with Balogun.

What should Folarin Balogun do about Arsenal future?

In our opinion, if Arsenal are unable to assure Folarin Balogun that he will get chances on a regular basis in the first team next season, then he should leave in the summer transfer window.

It is as simple as that.

Gabriel Jesus is the number one striker at Arsenal at the moment.

Arteta also has Eddie Nketiah to call upon.

Balogun did extremely well during his loan spell in France last season.

The USA international striker score 21 goals and gave two assists in 34 Ligue 1 Strats.

The 21-year-old simply cannot get back to being just a squad player anymore.
