Rangers could face interest in one of their most highly-rated players

Ianis Hagi may have endured an inconsistent season, but there’s no doubt the young Romanian is considered one of the most talented players at Ibrox.
Despite only signing a permanent deal with Rangers in the summer of 2020, it is now being reported that he could be set for a move to the Bundesliga.
Hagi, son of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Galatasaray legend Gheorghe, made an instant impression when he arrived in Glasgow on loan from Genk in January 2020.
It was the youngster’s double that inspired a memorable Europa League comeback against Braga in March, and supporters were delighted when he sealed a long-term move in late May.

Despite not being a regular in Steven Gerrard’s starting XI, Hagi has shown glimpses of his talent this season and scored the only goal in December’s 1-0 win over Hibs at Ibrox.
According to Romanian outlet DigiSport, the 22-year-old is now a target for Liverpool’s Champions League opponents RB Leipzig.
The sides will contest a last-16 tie in February, and the report describes Hagi as “the ideal option” for manager Julian Nagelsmann.
They state that Die Roten Bullen have “renewed their interest” in the attacking midfielder.
Rangers still retain an interest in European competition this season, with the Scottish Premiership leaders facing Royal Antwerp in the Europa League round of 32.
