Rangers‘ row with the SPFL over their title sponsorship with cinch looks set to rumble on, according to reports, after an emergency league meeting failed to find a resolution.

According to the Daily Record, the SPFL have requested proof from Rangers that their deal with cinch breaches an existing contract the Light Blues have in place as they look to put the row to bed.
The Gers refused to wear cinch Premiership sleeve badges in the win over Livingston at the weekend with the league sponsor’s branding completely absent from Ibrox.
The SPFL’s deal with cinch is touted as the biggest in the history of the league, generating around £8million over five years for the 42 clubs.
However, the Record reports that cinch could pull the plug completely if a resolution isn’t found quickly.
Rangers stand to earn around 14% of the overall value paid out to clubs if they finish the season as champions again (around £200,000-£250,000) with that dropping to around 9% for finishing second.
That could drop if cinch do scrap their partnership with the SPFL and likely prompt an angry response from other clubs.
With no resolution looking likely any time soon, it appears the SPFL and Rangers could drag this one for a while and spark a scramble from other clubs looking to fill the gap left if cinch do walk away.
