Yeovil were linked with a move for the Queens Park Rangers midfielder in August.
Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sean Goss is wanted by Yeovil Town, the Daily Star reports on page 50 of its Thursday printed edition.
Yeovil boss Darren Way confirmed via Get West London his interest in signing Goss during the summer transfer window, but a deal failed to materialise.
Having failed to make an appearance since then, however, it is looking likely that the former Manchester United man will be on his travels in January.
According to the Daily Star, Yeovil are keen to take him on loan – less than a year since his £500,000 transfer to QPR.
Goss told Get West London earlier this week that he remains hopeful he can break into Ian Holloway’s Loftus Road plans, but added that he is ‘keeping his options open’.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that QPR are one of three higher-division clubs ‘following’ nine-goal Stevenage striker Danny Newton – a graduate of Jamie Vardy’s V9 Academy.
It adds that QPR, Barnsley and League One Milton Keynes Dons are all ‘watching Newton’s progress closely’.
