PSG are reportedly plotting a last-ditch offer to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, who has long been on Tottenham’s radar under sporting director Fabio Paratici.
According to L’Equipe, the Ligue 1 champions are set to make an €80m (£70m) offer in one final attempt to sign Skriniar, who Inter, in recent weeks, have been extremely reluctant to sell their star defender despite a lack of talks over a new contract, with the Slovakian international’s current deal set to expire in 2023.
Tottenham are also reportedly interested in signing Skriniar with Paratici a big fan of the Serie A superstar, with links to the Inter star lingering for as long as a year, yet with the north London side focused on bringing in a winger, a move for the 27-year-old centre-back seems unlikely at this stage in the transfer window.
Indeed, PSG have also been chasing Skriniar for some time, and with the French giants seemingly set to throw one more roll of the dice to sign the defender, Inter could be tempted to let the towering centre-back to leave Milan should the Parisian side match their £70m asking price.
It’s now or never for PSG to sign Inter star Milan Skriniar

PSG have been chasing Skriniar since the window opened this summer, and now feels like the European giants’ last real chance to land the Tottenham target in what could be one of the coups of the market even with the £70m price tag for the Slovakian.
After all, Skriniar is one of the best defenders in world football, and for PSG, the centre-back will be a huge boost to Christophe Galtier’s chances of reclaiming the Ligue 1 title as well as finally bringing the UEFA Champions League to the French capital.
