Well, Arsenal could have stiff competition to sign Chelsea’s Ngolo Kante.
In October, Foot Mercato in France reported that the Gunners were interested in signing the France international, whose contract at Stamford Bridge expires next summer.
At Arsenal, beyond Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka their midfield is relatively weak in terms of depth.
However, Paris Saint-Germain might be interested in Kante, too.
According to reliable Bild journalist Christian Falk, the Ligue 1 champions certainly do have the Chelsea star on their radar.

After the Foot Mercato report, 90 Min reported that Chelsea had a ‘fear’ about him signing for Arsenal and would prefer the player to move abroad for obvious reasons.
Without Kante, Mikel Arteta’s side are looking the real deal and they secured a 1-0 victory over the Blues in West London this past weekend.
Strengthening a direct Premier League rival would be the worst-case scenario for Chelsea if they were to lose him and for that reason, they might be secretly hoping that if Kante goes to anyone, it’ll be PSG.
