Fulham are interested in signing Oliver Skipp from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to The London Evening Standard.

It has been reported that the Cottagers – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning promotion from the Championship – have expressed an interest in signing the 19-year-old midfielder on loan for the 2020-21 campaign.

Leaving Tottenham Hotspur on loan

Skipp is an emerging talent at Tottenham, and the England Under-21 international is very highly rated and could become a star at the club in the coming years.

However, for now, the teenager needs some good playing time in the first team in a competitive league.

It is hard to see the youngster play much football under head coach Jose Mourinho in the Tottenham first team next season.

Mourinho told Football.London last month that Skipp wants to leave Spurs on loan, and added that he himself thinks that it would be good for the player’s “evolution” if he does that (click here to read more).

A loan move to Fulham, even for the first half of next season, would be good for the teenage midfielder.
