Reported Tottenham Hotspur target and Paris Saint-Germain central defender Abdou Diallo has been offered to Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa, according to The Daily Mail.
Linked with Tottenham Hotspur, Abdou Diallo now offered to Aston Villa
The report has claimed that Villa want to sign a new centre-back in the summer transfer window and are in talks with Premier League rivals Southampton over a move for Jan Bednarek on a loan deal.
The Villans have been offered the chance to sign Senegal international centre-back Diallo from defending Ligue 1 champions PSG as well, according to the report.
Earlier this week, Le Parisien eeported that the 26-year-old is keen on a move to Villa and working under Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.
Interestingly, Tottenham have also also linked with the PSG player.

In July, RMC Sport reported that Spurs wanted to sign Diallo from PSG, but, as later claimed by L’Equipe, they did not want to pay the €30 million (£25.45 million) transfer fee the French giants were asking for and secured the services of Clement Lenglet on loan from Barcelona instead.
Stats
Abdou Diallo has been on the books of PSG since 2019 and has won the Ligue 1 title twice with the French powerhouse.
The Senegalese star made 10 starts and two substitute appearances in Ligue 1 last season, and also played twice in the UEFA Champions League for PSG.
