Wilfried Zaha has told Crystal Palace he plans to leave Selhurst Park this summer with Everton and Tottenham Hotspur keen on the Premier League wideman, as reported by The Standard.

Déjà vu all over again, Palace fans?

It’s that time of year again with speculation starting to swirl regarding the future of a man who appears to have taken up permanent residency in the gossip columns.

Crystal Palace have managed to retain Zaha’s services in recent years, slapping a £100 million price tag on his head not so long ago (The Sun).

History may not repeat itself this time round, however, with the Ivory Coast international due to become a free agent in 2023.

Tottenham and Arsenal both want Zaha

What’s more, Palace are now scouring the market for replacements after Zaha expressed his desire to leave his home-town club before pre-season training gets under way in July.

The south London outfit is under no illusions the winger’s 393rd appearance in club colours was likely to be his last.

And, a fortnight ago, Goal reported Everton and Tottenham were both keen to sign Zaha for a cut-price £40 million.

Everton and Tottenham’s Zaha interest hit by manager woes

The sudden departure of Carlo Ancelotti complicates matters for the Toffees, however, while Spurs are also prioritising a new manager – most likely Antonio Conte – before hammering out transfer plans.

A more settled Arsenal side, then, may have an advantage as they look to conclude their long-running pursuit of a boyhood Gunners fanatic (90Min). Mikel Arteta’s Gunners, however, appear to be prioritising a number ten rather than a winger at this stage.

Meanwhile, the Standard adds Crystal Palace are big fans of Jeremie Boga, the former Chelsea winger who plays in the same left-wing position as Zaha.

Last month, Boga announced plans to leave Serie A outfit Sassuolo.
