Fabio Paratici has a clear intention for Tottenham Hotspur to sign reported Liverpool target Gleison Bremer, but Torino President Urbano Cairo is reluctant to grant a January transfer.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who report the Il Toro chief wants to retain the Brazilian until the summer. Cairo will not prevent Bremer from leaving his Serie A side next year, but is focused on the 24-year-old staying at the Olympic Grande Torino Stadium for the season.
Cairo is also determined to start any negotiations for the centre-back at €25m (£21m), with multiple Italian outfits also keen. Napoli are tracking Bremer’s situation with Torino in view of potentially replacing Kostas Manolas at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

AC Milan are also scouting Bremer as their Sporting Director Frederic Massara is a big fan of his ability. But the Rossoneri may face competition from their San Siro rivals, Inter, too.
Inter have spoken with the defender’s agent for some time and are close to agreeing a deal in principle. Yet Paratici has a ‘clear intention’ of Tottenham sealing a transfer for Bremer.
Cairo loves the level of interest Bremer is attracting with his standout performances for Torino. He knows his efforts will go hand-in-hand with a high fee when it comes to selling.
Liverpool could yet deny Tottenham transfer for Torino’s Serie A star Bremer
Tottenham Managing Director Paratici is not alone in wanting to bring Bremer from Torino to the Premier League with a transfer to Spurs, either. Reports by Tuttosport note Antonio Conte also wants the centre-half in north London next year as he builds his side.
But Liverpool could stop Paratici and Conte making Bremer a Tottenham player, as Torino Granata expect the Brazilian to move to Anfield next summer and ignore Napoli’s interest.

Torino have not given up hope of keeping Bremer from Tottenham and Liverpool’s transfer clutches, as well. TuttoMercatoWEB report Il Toro are willing to triple his salary with a new contract running to 2024, having proven to be one of Serie A’s best defender’s this term.
Ivan Juric’s side have kept three clean sheets over his 14 appearances so far this season. He has also stood out with his physicality and ability to take command in one-on-one duels.
