Fabio Paratici has reportedly returned to Juventus for American midfielder Weston McKennie, with the Spurs official offering Moussa Sissoko on loan as part of a deal.
According to Tuttosport, Paratici is ‘back in touch’ with his former club with the Serie A giants eager to offload McKennie this summer. Despite being a star player for Juventus last season, Massimiliano Allegri is not a fan of the 22-year-old midfielder.
Indeed, this has led to Tottenham trying to acquire the youngster from the Italian side. However, a deal is proving difficult to pull off.
As per the report, Paratici has already offered Tanguy Ndombele in a swap deal to Juventus. But the Turin-based club rejected the proposal.
And now, Spurs have now offered Sissoko on loan to Juventus. Though as per Tuttosport, it is unclear if McKennie would also join the north London side on a temporary transfer.
Tottenham are eager to offload Sissoko this window, with the midfielder now surplus to requirements under Nuno Espirito Santo.
The French international signed for Spurs five years ago from Newcastle United in a deal worth £30m according to BBC Sport.

And replacing the 32-year-old Spurs midfielder with McKennie could be a stroke of genius from Paratici.
The 24-cap USMNT star was arguably Juventus’ best player last season and was a real bright spark for the Old Lady in what was ultimately a disappointing year.
Yet despite impressing under Andrea Pirlo and winning the admiration and respect of Juventus fans, McKennie is not in Allegri’s plans for the upcoming season.
And Spurs could secure his signature if the Italian side agree to take Sissoko on loan.
