According to The Sun, Nuno Espirito Santo has asked every Spurs player if they actually want to be at Tottenham, amid the Harry Kane drama.
What’s the story?
Well, The Sun believe Tottenham players are still struggling to warm to Nuno.
It is said that, despite impressing with his coaching methods, the Portuguese manager remains quite a frosty presence in N17.
The Sun claim Nuno has been grumpy towards staff, just like he was at Wolves.
Perhaps Kane’s behaviour has sparked his annoyance.
In a team meeting, Nuno is said to have gone around the room asking each player if they want to be at the club.
Interestingly, The Sun claim a couple of players failed to give positive answers to that question.
Who might’ve responded badly to Nuno’s question at Tottenham?
In our view, Tanguy Ndombele may have been one player who said he didn’t really fancy being at Tottenham.
It has already been said that the club-record £53.8m man wants to leave Spurs.
Ndombele didn’t feature at all during pre-season, missing the friendly with Arsenal despite being fully fit.
Apart from the Frenchman and Kane, there has been little talk of anyone else being unhappy at Hotspur Way.
Hopefully it stays that way, and the players start to take to Nuno.
After all, it’ll be hard not to get on the ex-Wolves man’s side if he keeps picking up wins, following back-to-back Premier League victories.
