Jarman was reportedly named in Stan Collymore’s 24-point report into behind-the-scenes events at Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest are understood to be considering football agent Michael Jarman as their new chief executive, the Nottingham Post reports.

Jarman claimed in a recent tweet to be working as an intermediary for Forest and was repeatedly named in Stan Collymore’s 24-point report into behind-the-scenes events at the Championship club.

He is also thought to have been involved in Henri Lansbury’s transfer from the City Ground to Aston Villa last month, which raises concerns about a potential conflict of interests – as previously alluded to by Collymore.

According to the Nottingham Post, Forest have moved onto alternative targets after their preferred choice was unable to take on the role until the summer.

Mal Brannigan, who has previously held senior roles at clubs including Sheffield United, Derby County and Everton, has also been linked with the position, along with former Forest analyst and trusted figure to Gary Rowett at Birmingham City, Darren Robinson – another name mentioned in Collymore’s report.
