The Telegraph report that Newcastle United have been ‘inundated’ with numerous loan offers from clubs all over Europe to sign their new signing Garang Kuol – after he briefly impressed for Australia at the World Cup in Qatar.
There is so much hype surrounding this teenage talent. Bought by Newcastle in a move that will be confirmed on January 1, Kuol has been linked with plenty of other big clubs such as Celtic and Barcelona before joining the Toon.
Compared to Kylian Mbappe, he made two substitute appearances for Australia at the World Cup. That is, after having a hand in nine goals during his 14 senior games for Central Coast Mariners. He came on in the opener against France.
Then, he had to wait but shared a pitch with Lionel Messi – and had a golden chance to equalise. Instead, his quick turn and shot was saved by Emi Martinez. But the hype around Kuol is enormous – and it is easy to see why, after his cameo.
The latest report states that Newcastle want him to go on loan. Clubs from all over Europe, including English sides, have already approached Newcastle or made bids to sign him temporarily. Newcastle have a decision to make.

Alou Kuol, Garang’s brother, is currently in German football. Slightly older than Garang at 21, he is playing for Stuttgart. That might just tempt Garang to move to the German Bundesliga and to a club where he is close to his elder brother.
