Newcastle United are about to make a bid of £15 million for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, according to The Northern Echo.

The report has claimed that Newcastle are confident of sealing a deal for the English goalkeeper, who earns £120,000 per week as salary at Manchester United (SalarySport).

Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe has identified Henderson as number one target in the goalkeeping position, according to the report.

The Magpies reportedly wanted to sign Henderson in the January transfer window as well.

Should Dean Henderson leave Manchester United for Newcastle United?

In our view, Dean Henderson should seriously considering leaving Manchester United for Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.

David de Gea is the number one goalkeeper at Manchester United, and that is not going to change anytime soon.

The Spaniard was one of the best players for the Red Devils this season and is still at the top of his game.

Now, of course, we know that Manchester United are arguably the biggest club in England.

However, if Henderson wants to enhance his career, then the 25-year-old needs to play regularly now

If Newcastle are willing to offer him that opportunity, then, in our view, Henderson should take it.
