Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are interested in signing Harrison Ashby from David Moyes’s West Ham United in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
Newcastle United eye West Ham United’s Harrison Ashby
The report has claimed that Newcastle are exploring a deal to bring Ashby to St. James’ Park before the summer transfer window closes next week.
The Magpies will reportedly bid £2.5 million for the West Ham youngster.
As reported by The Daily Mail, West Ham manager David Moyes has promoted the 20-year-old Scottish right-back to the first-team squad this season.
What should Harrison Ashby do?
In our opinion, Harrison Ashby needs to think carefully before making a decision on his West Ham United future.
Ashby has been on the books of West Ham since 2010 and has played once in the Premier League so far in his career.

The youngster has already featured in the UEFA Conference League qualifier this season.
Newcastle are a massive club, but so are West Ham.
And the right-back is unlikely to get more playing time at the Magpies than he would at the Hammers this season.
Ashby is only 20 now and has time on his hands.
