AS Roma will reportedly listen to offers of around €50m (£41m) this summer for rumoured Tottenham and Juventus target Nicolo Zaniolo.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A side are open to selling their star midfielder this summer, with Jose Mourinho setting a £41m asking price for the Italian international, who is also being chased by Juventus.
As per the report, the Old Lady are favourites to land Zaniolo this summer, with Juventus eager to add more domestic talent to their books. However, Tottenham could prove some strong competition for the Italian giants.
As reported by Roma Live, Antonio Conte’s side have already made contact to sign Zaniolo, who according to former AS Roma and Italy defender Dario Bonetti can ‘play anywhere’ in the midfield, a trait that could be useful for Tottenham.
Spurs will be one of the busiest sides in the summer given Conte’s history of rebuilding clubs in the off-season, and Zaniolo could be an option for the Tottenham manager as a new midfield signing.
Indeed, Zaniolo won’t come cheap as per Roma’s price tag for the youngster, and with Juventus also eager to sign the Italian, Tottenham will have to play the transfer game wisely if they are to win the race for the midfield talent.
Tottenham and Juventus could overpay for Zaniolo

Zaniolo is set to leave Roma this summer, and for Tottenham and Juventus, the youngster could start a bidding war which results in either club overpaying for the 22-year-old playmaker.
After all, Zaniolo is a phenomenal talent who could star for Italy for years to come, and with Roma eager to sell, Tottenham or Juventus could over the odds for the midfielder this summer.
