Sanson is a very good midfielder who is rated highly by his Marseille teammates, and the 26-year-old could prove to be a good signing for Villa.
The Frenchman will add more steel to the Villa midfield and make them stronger in the middle of the season.
The 26-year-old has made 10 starts and two substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Marseille so far this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
