Liverpool are interested in bringing Milan Skriniar to Anfield but Inter Milan have absolutely no plans to sell a centre-back they value at over £45 million, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Slovakian international is not the first San Siro-based defender to be linked with a move to Anfield this summer.
But after their desire to sign Alessandro Bastoni came to nothing, it seems that they are wasting their time with another Antonio Conte favourite.
Skriniar is one of the first names on the Inter team sheet and, under contract until 2023, the Nerazzuri are under absolutely no pressure to sell one of the top defenders in European football.
Gazzetta claims that Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are all keen on the 25-year-old former Sampdoria ace, but the chances of Inter cashing in look about as slim as bitter rivals AC Milan lifting an eighth European title within the next three years.

Interestingly, Skriniar wears the number 37 shirt at the San Siro, in homage to Slovakia legend and former Liverpool ace Martin Skrtel.
“Skrtel is one of my idols,” he explained last year.
But if Liverpool fans are hoping that Skriniar will follow in Skrtel’s footsteps, they should not be holding their breath.
